More cute nails and EcoTools 5-piece brush set

Hello hello!

I just got back from sunny Perth!

Yes, I know I know... I was in Perth barely three weeks ago too.

All this jet-setting has caused a havoc on my body clock!
It doesn't help that I have been quite stressed too. It's work-related; my manager is on her holiday so I'm handling some her responsibilities. MEH.

To be honest, I haven't been stressed like this in a LONG time so my hormones are all over the place causing me to break out. Fortunately for Dr. Ong's clear skin gel is a lifesaver!

Anyho, onto more interesting stuff! :D
I've played with my Konad set again and made these simple but eye-popping nails!

Rawrrrrrrr! ♥

I must say, it's not as easy as it looks!

I find it hard trying to make all the nail patterns consistent across all digits. Fortunately, I was quite patient that night so I re-did my nails a few times if the patterns turn out wonky. I much prefer whole-nail patterns as it's much easier to get away with mistakes. Heheheee! ;)

Oh and I also purchased an Ecotools brush set after hearing good reviews! I only use synthetic cruelty-free brushes (For those of you who don't know/forgotten, I am a vegetarian).

This 5-piece brush set consists of (left to right) concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, mineral blush brush, the baby kabuki and a hemp cosmetic bag to keep your tools in.

I have not used it on my face yet but they feel extremely soft, just like my Body Shop ones!

They're very affordable and great for the environment as they are made from natural and recycled materials.

Thumbnail comparison. They're actually quite small, which is great for travelling :)

Alright folks, that's all for now! I'm keen on just relaxing today after such a hectic week!
Hope you're having a great weekend!

Domo-kun cladded feet!! ♥♥

I love ecotool as well. Bought a set for my sister who was just starting out with makeup and she fell in love with how soft they are!

Hi Celeste! :)
That was awfully nice of you! I wish I have a sister who can shower me with gifts! HEHEE!

I still haven't had a chance to use them yet so I'm not sure how much they can pick up but I agree with you! They're incredibly soft! Just as soft as my Body shop ones!
