My precioussssss

*Mega prancing*

Here it is! My thesis, finally printed and bound! :D

My precious...
Love how the gold just seems to gleam!

As a reward for getting it all done, I treated myself to Korean Ice Cream!

It tasted more like cherry than watermelon though.
The "seeds" were red beans which is an interesting twist to a rather fruity treat.

Speaking of Korean!
Twinno Yenny sent me a present from Korea!

Cute little cards as she couldn't decide on one! XD
They are uber adorable!

Pots of glittery eyeshadows ♥

Lipgloss! ♥

Apple shaped bottle containing hand cream! ♥

Handmade soap! ♥

She's seriously too nice to me (T.T)

She might also think I stink (hence soap) but I honestly think it's because she just simply adores me. Well, who wouldn't think so? *flutters eyelashes*
Thank you so much Yenners :3
You are totally awesome!! ♥♥

I would say that I am one who wears my heart on my sleeve.
I do not necessarily say how I feel or what is going on in the little head of mine but you can definitely read it all over my face and through my body language.

Many times in my life when I am upset or confused, I would blurt it all out in a blog entry but yet never publish them.
These entries of which are full of raw emotions and thoughts are scribbled in such a chaotic manner that I could never publish them to the public.

How could one grasp my feelings when I am unable to do so myself?

To be honest, I rather not publicly share personal feelings as it makes me feel vulnerable. Furthermore, I do not wish to be judged.

However I continue to jot down how I feel, simply because it is therapeutic.
I analyze the words I chose, the feelings I feel and am able to figure out the problem and suss things out. I never publish them but delete them later on.

Today... I feel a little lost.

I do not know what I aim to achieve with this entry.
I am not reaching out for help yet sometimes I wish to be saved.

I know why I feel the way I do.
I know the reason for these feelings I feel.
I understand these things must happen because it's for the best.
I am aware of the things I could and ought to do.

But there is no real solution.
There is no real guarantee of anything.

This is fear.
This is life.

It will be quite a battle.
I guess there is nothing left to do but to be optimistic and face another day with a brave face.
I won't let fear drag me down.

Wish me luck :)

Earth Hour 2009

If you haven't heard of it then you must be living in the dark...
which is a good thing ;)

As of today, 1 760 cities and towns worldwide have signed up to turn off their power at 8.30pm on 28th March 2009 in the support of Earth Hour 2009.

By participating, you are voting for action on climate change. At the end of this year, the world's leaders would meet at a very important conference (the UN Climate Change Conference) and discuss strategies to save our earth from the dire state it is presently in.

It won't matter what time zone you're in, all you have to do is turn off the non-essential lights or electrical appliances at 8.30pm your local time for an hour. Your participation will raise and create awareness for the need of action against climate change.

We are all caught up with living our own lives; thinking that the world revolves around us. On the 28th March, it's your chance to flick off those lights and stop being so selfish for once.

Heck, it might even be a good excuse to go around and scare your family members/housemates by flashing the torch light under your face or something much more creative.

Although should you plan to do that, you may unknowingly be signing up as a victim of a horrid practical joke on April Fool's Day.

Hard to swallow

Yes. You've read it right.
"A collection of semen-based recipes."

I stumbled across an ad for it in a magazine and was highly intrigued as to whether it was just a hoax. I was really surprised to find that they are selling well and now onto their second edition.

Semen is not only nutritious, but it also has a wonderful texture and amazing cooking properties. Like fine wine and cheeses, the taste of semen is complex and dynamic. Semen is inexpensive to produce and is commonly available in many, if not most, homes and restaurants. Despite all of these positive qualities, semen remains neglected as a food. This book hopes to change that. Once you overcome any initial hesitation, you will be surprised to learn how wonderful semen is in the kitchen. Semen is an exciting ingredient that can give every dish you make an interesting twist. If you are a passionate cook and are not afraid to experiment with new ingredients - you will love this cook book!

It's Friday. I'm unemployed and bored.

So why not head to Glenelg for some fun?
I love walking along the shorelines while eating ice cream!
And I love Glenelg's "Beach House" with all its arcade games, mini golf, water slides and other little fun rides!

Anyway, Josh was particularly really eager as he was looking forward to a "Tekken 6" arcade game rematch because he has never won me before!

And again, I kick his ass!

Josh: 0
Lisha: 4

^The Loser.

Oh, he did win one round this time though. Usually I'd defeat him in two rounds.
It was cause I was trying out the "ultimate" power combo but it took too much time for the character to power up.

Actually, the reason why Josh keeps losing is because he cannot predict anything.
I simply mash the buttons together. I just go in for the kill.
My motto: "Hesitate and you die."

We also played "Deal or no Deal"
The first we played, we ended up with only $10.

Not satisfied with not winning a single arcade ticket (which is redeemable for some prizes), we played again! And this time, we ended up with $500,000 = 50 tickets!

If only it was real moneh.
We had a total of 60 tickets from previous visits. We're trying to collect as many as possible! :D

Anyho! Another game we tried was a small arcade game. It had a sign which went, "Try it! You're a winner anyway!"
Which is very attractive to me, because I hate losing.

Anyway, the game was about a short row of lights that would circle around endlessly and all you have to do is try to capture one between two arches. If you don't, it doesn't matter, you'll get some tickets anyway! :D

Yes. Tickets.

So Josh tried it. He didn't get the first time. He hates losing too so he tried again.
This time, he caught it between the two arches. The game began to make loud high-pitched noises. I stepped back because it was attracting too much attention.
Josh was mad because it was just noisy but didn't spit out a single ticket.
It wasn't long before it started spewing out tickets.
My jaw dropped as it kept going and going.

It gave us 144 tickets.

I only captured a bit of the ticket-churning machine. I was shocked most of the time. lol.

Again, if it only real moneh.

Now we're so much closer to getting that remote controlled helicopter! WOO HOO!

Summer is coming to a beautiful end

I've gotten my IELTS score back!
And am glad to say that I am able to apply for an Australian residency with it.

It's so fortunate that I didn't have to endure the awful heatwave last month!
Since autumn is approaching, and I've gotten great results, this means I get to splurge on some these gorgeous UGG boots, right?

These are SO gorgeous!
But also SO pricey!

Woe is me! I am still unemployed :(
Perhaps some of you should pool in some money and buy me a belated birthday present?
HMmmm?? :D

My favourite is the grey one!! :)

Bzzzt. Bzzzt.

Run for yer lives!
These robotic creatures have landed on Rundle Mall!
Do not be fooled just because they demand hugs and hand shakes.
They will eat our brains.
Like zombies.

I love the Fringe Festival! :D
